POLE NOT INCLUDED
The Eccles Scottish Tartan Garden Flag puts the Eccles name on a tartan-print flag built for the yard, not just another generic thistle design.
Eccles takes its name from the village of Eccles in Berwickshire, in the Scottish Borders — the place name comes from an old Brittonic word for “church,” making it one of the region’s older surnames.
This flag is printed on both sides of 100% poly poplin-canvas fabric, so the design shows through correctly whichever way it’s facing. It’s offered in a compact 12" x 18" size or a larger 24.5" x 32" size, and the canvas is built to resist fading outdoors. A top sleeve fits standard flagpoles and flag stands; no pole is included.
A simple way for an Eccles household to fly the family name, or a nice pick-up gift for a relative interested in Borders family history.
Have a look through Celtic Ancestry Gifts for other Scottish and Irish surnames — there’s a good chance yours is there too.
