The Clan Edgar Scottish Tartan Garden Flag prints the Edgar name over a tartan background, made for flying outside an Edgar family home rather than a generic Highland scene.
Edgar is recognized as an armigerous Scottish clan — one without a currently recognized chief — traditionally linked to the family of Wedderlie in Berwickshire, and to the 11th-century King Edgar of Scotland, from whom the surname is said to descend.
Printed on both sides of 100% poly poplin-canvas for a design that’s visible from any angle, this flag comes in a 12" x 18" size for tight spaces and a larger 24.5" x 32" size for a dedicated flagpole. The canvas weave is made to hold its colour through sun and rain. A sleeve at the top slides onto any standard pole or flag stand (pole not included).
A straightforward way for an Edgar family to mark their home, or a thoughtful gift for someone building out their Scottish family history.
Celtic Ancestry Gifts stocks flags and gifts for many Scottish clans and Irish surnames — worth checking whether other branches of the family are represented too.
